The problem
Dispatchers tracked trips in spreadsheets. Every shift had its own file, and the numbers never matched at handover. Customers called to ask where their cargo was, and the dispatcher went into a spreadsheet and could not find the trip. Late-delivery penalties were climbing and large customers had started to leave.
What we built
One trip register
Every trip in one system. The dispatcher sees status, driver, delays and documents. No spreadsheets.
Customer portal
Customers check where their cargo is themselves instead of calling the dispatcher. They download closing documents and sign them electronically.
GPS integration
Vehicle coordinates come in automatically. The dispatcher no longer sees "the driver says he is passing Kazan" but an actual point on a map.
Deviation alerts
If a vehicle is more than forty minutes late, both dispatcher and customer get a push. Delays became visible in advance rather than on unloading day.
